Suzanne Pharr, feminist and anti-racist worker, founded the Women’s Project, with the goal of eliminating sexism and racism through dismantling systems of violence and economic injustice. She co-founded Southerners on New Ground, a regional progressive LGBT organization, and was the director of the Highlander Center. Pharr authored Homophobia: A Weapon of Sexism, and In the Time of the Right: Reflections on Liberation.
